My ceramic weaving Hold this with me will be on display at Christie’s London as part of the Terrence Higgins Trust 2026 Auction on 25 March. The work is part of an ongoing series of ceramic weavings that explore intangible feelings of being through relationships of colour and form. This wall-mounted sculpture is made from extruded and interlaced strands of clay, creating a vibrant field of colour. Each piece is unique, and this is my first ceramic weaving made in terracotta. The work invites close viewing, allowing the eye to move across and through the interwoven surface from multiple angles.
The work will be exhibited at Christie’s, London (SW1Y 6QT) as part of the Terrence Higgins Trust 2026 Auction, presented with Auction Collective. The timed online auction runs from 9–27 March, with the live auction at Christie’s on 25 March. Artists participating in this year’s auction include Anish Kapoor and Howard Hodgkin. Since 2000 the auction has raised over £6 million for Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK’s leading HIV charity, which supports people living with HIV and works to end new cases in the UK by 2030.
